TERMS & CONDITIONS
FEES FOR ONE-TO-ONE LESSONS
• Fees for one-to-one lessons are charged on a monthly block basis and must be paid at the start of the month. Invoices will be issued in advance.
• Each 30-minute lesson costs £18.50.
• Trial lessons are available.
• The music school runs for 46 weeks of the year and continues through most school holidays.
• Payment methods:
1. Bank Transfer – details are provided on each invoice.
2. Payment Link on Invoice – card payments may be made using the link provided (1.5% additional fee).
3. Autopay – you may add card details to your student account and payments will be taken automatically at the start of each month. All details are securely stored and not visible to tutors.
• Please include your invoice number or the student’s name when making payment.
• A 5% discount is applied for families and for students learning more than one instrument. This will be shown on your invoice.
• Late Payment: A £25 administrative charge will be applied to any invoice not paid at the start of the month or within the stated payment period.
CANCELLATION AND MISSED LESSONS
• We require more than 48 hours' notice to cancel a lesson. Lessons cancelled with insufficient notice will be charged at full price.
• If you cancel a lesson after the start of the month, the lesson will still be charged as invoices will already have been issued. Credits for lessons
cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice will be carried forward to the next month.
• All cancellations must be made through the App, not via email or by telling the tutor directly. This ensures the calendar, tutor notifications, and invoices update automatically.
• Your lesson booking continues indefinitely until you inform us in writing that you no longer wish to continue.
• We require 2 weeks’ notice to withdraw from lessons. No refunds will be given for leaving during a paid block. Notice must be emailed to grantsmusicschool@gmail.com
LESSONS
• If your tutor is unable to teach, a cover tutor will be arranged where possible. You will be notified of any changes as early as possible.
• All tutors are PVG checked.
• If we cannot provide a tutor, the lesson will be cancelled and a credit will be applied to your account.
FEES FOR GROUP CLASSES
(Musical Theatre, Ukulele, Group Guitar & All Group Sessions)
• Fees for group classes are charged monthly and must be paid at the start of the month. Invoices will be issued in advance.
• Payment methods:
1. Bank Transfer
2. Payment Link on Invoice (1.5% additional fee)
3. Autopay (securely stored card details, not visible to tutors)
• Please include your invoice number or the student’s name when paying.
• A 10% discount is available for families and will be reflected on your invoice.
• Late Payment: A £25 administrative fee will be applied to any late group-class invoice.
CANCELLATION AND MISSED GROUP CLASSES
• Group classes are non-refundable. A missed class will still be charged.
• Your child’s place in the class continues until you notify us in writing that they wish to stop.
• No refund will be given for leaving during a block. Notice must be emailed to grantsmusicschool@gmail.com, not given to tutors.
